Double Flip-Mount for Fantasea housing with CMC and SubSee macro lens
Flip-Mounts can be mounted on underwater camera housings to be able to flip wet lenses in front or away from the port of the housing.
They are available for many different housings and can even be fabricated for special requests. First, the Flip-Mounts get designed as a 3D model and then they get printed out of a very light-weighted but durable ABS plastic with a 3D printer. The weight of a Flip-Mounts varies between 50-100g (including screws). This is very handy when it comes to traveling and we have to save on weight.

For most underwater camera housings it is possible to print and mount a Flip-Mount, but for some it is physically not possible. If you cannot find your model here, please write an email to info@uw-pix.com and check whether it is possible to get one, or not.
Flip-Mounts are available for most of the common macro lenses, but the different models do not fit for all the lenses!
To give the best possible result, the macro lens should be as close to the port as possible and therefore we design the different models so that the lenses are as close as possible. Even if some holders are able to hold most different models of macro lenses it is recommended to order the right Flip-adapter during the order process! This will ultimately give you better results! Also note that some macro lenses are significantly different in size and will not fit on all the different adapters. Please check during checkout that you have ordered the right model!
To avoid having to carry extra tools when going on a dive trip, Flip-Mounts can be mounted by hand (no tools needed) within a couple of minutes.

Absolutely, if you have a 67mm thread on your housing and cannot find the right model, you can always use an adapter-ring like the one which is usually shipped with the Nauticam SMC:
